I voted "Excellent". This is a completely free magazine produced for the benefit and entertainment of the community, with a good range of interesting articles.
We have
1. A film review which would tempt me to rent the DVD
2. Some wonderful health advice from Jerry
3. Becky's story, bringing together many of the bits and pieces mentioned around the forums
4. A good review of Ubuntu which may well encourage some people to give it a go
5. Some really good artwork
6. A great coming-out story (which I think is fiction but I wonder if there is a hint of truth in there)
7. An extremely powerful and well-written story by Dan which, I have to say, is the only one I did not read in full because of the content.
The presentation and layout is excellent! I have seen a number of magazines, including some high sales ones from major publishers with MUCH worse presentation.

We are aware that Full Spectrum's hardware requirements are high. Sadly, there isn't an easy solution for that. Full Spectrum 1.0, is a compromise between processing and memory requirements. Making it less processor-hungry (by rasterizing everything) makes it bigger and more memory-hungry, while making it more vectored requires more CPU power for rendering.
Still, I'm trying to optimize 2.0 as much as possible.

Did you try the 1.1 version? That may work better as the file is smaller.

We're about to release 1.1b, which is 1 series reduced to less than 2 MB.

Also try Foxit Reader. It's a lot more responsive and less bloated than Acrobat Reader.
