throwing up blood

so every one who was in the chat last night knows i was throwing up blood. they told me to go to the hospital .. so i did we were in the ER from 9:30 to about 3:30am i passed , and threw up some more the Doctor drew blood and did tests gave me an iv and did some more tests cam back with i have a rip in my stomach and i may be developing an ulcer.. so thats what is going on with that

umm he just sed take meds be careful dont do anything for the next two or three days dring lots of watter and come back if nothing changes or if it gets worse... thats about it

That sounds like it's not too bad then, and they are hoping it will heal OK on it's own. That's good. Stick to what they say and take care of yourself.

omfg, I have no idea what any of that means, but it sounds awful and I feel so bad for you. Regardless of the fact that I have no idea what a "rip in the stomach" would mean or do, but I'm posotive that you'll be fine. (*hug*)

it hurts like hell and it still scares me cause we dont know how big the cut or rip or what ever is or how deep or how much it is bleeding but it freaking hurts

i will dont worry god i passed out in the ER and hit my head on there hard ass floor you would think maybe thy would have carpet in there .. nope not a chance

They need a floor that is easy to clean when people have bled or thrown up over it. Carpet would be very difficulty to keep clean and disinfected.

so... how did they make this diagnosis? I assume they didn't do an EGD where they look down into the stomach (otherwise they would know the extent of the problem). So how did they come to this conclusion? Blood tests won't tell you the reason for the bleeding... only the level of blood.

idk i was sitting in a bed wit a thing coming out of my arm freezing to death so how the hell would i know
