My iPod Outed Me...

So this is only about when my close friends found out.

Me and my friends were walking to the store to get drinks for the halo party I was having. It was pretty late, about 9 P.M., and we were just at the top of the hill and my then short friend Don (he towers over me now) asked me if he could look at my iPod. I let 'em have it, totally forgetting what was on it. So he starts looking through all the music and then stops in his tracks and just stares down. Jake, Dutton, Zack (Don's Brother) look back at him and see this dumbfounded look on his face... and I yelled outloud "Shit!!!" I had about 15 penises (my name for male porn models) in my photo library.

He's like, "Ummmm, Michael... what is this!?!" I just stand there quiet-like for a moment and he's like, "Guys, look at this." And he shows everyone else. Zack is the first one to speak after Don.


***changing to script style ( I like dialogue so much better like this)***

ZACK: Dude!! Michael... is there something you want to tell us!?!

DUTTON: Michael what the crap is this!!!

Michael is silent for a second and just looks at everyone.

MICHAEL: Hey guys, I guess there's something I should tell you... [Michael hesitates] I'm Bi...

There's not much time for a moment before Don speaks up

DON: Wow, I totally didn't see that coming...

JAKE: Oh my god, Michael!!!

MICHAEL: I hope you guys aren't upset. I totally won't hit on you.

ZACK: [without missing a beat] No, it's cool.

MICHAEL: Really

ZACK: Yeah, I've got plenty of other friends who are gay, well, bi actually.

MICHAEL: What about you guys?

Everyone gives their agreement except Jake who is hesitant

DON: Wow, Michael, that's all I can say... [pauses] just wow.

Everyone continues on down the road, slowly moving to another subject.

***End Script***

We ended up discussing possible links between quatom physics and physics over a bond fire that night.

So, Everyone is still my friend except Jake. He's totally insecure and I don't think he was able to handle it. It's just accured to me that I haven't talked to him since.:confused:

Also, both Don and I really do use "totally" a lot in our speech, it wasn't a break in character.

I used to have some rather questionable pictures on my iPod myself. Nothing 18+, but nothing I would want other people to see. I eventually got nervous and erased them all, even though I never lend out my iPod to other people.

Well, my friends are the oddballs of the school. You know, the group where everyone has little in commin except that we don't fit ANY of the clicks. So I guess acceptance was only natural. Imagine if I were a prep.... that's a scary thought. (atleast the ones I know) they're so unforgiving...

Yes it's impossible to hide/delete! My friend got suspended from school b/c he had porn on his iPod.

Anyway it sounds like a good coming even if one person isn't talking to you it could have been much worse. Some people tend to be more homophobic when they see you with gay porn. idk

Hm. I consider myself lucky then.
Because even though my iPod is just filled with musicals, no one really gives me crap about it. A majority of my friends (guys and girls) are totally into musicals. In fact, they're the ones that gives me the CD to put into my iPod to listen to XD.

And luckily, I don't put pictures in my iPod because then it'll just be filled with half-naked celebrities (!)
