GLSEN Conference in Boston

I live too far away, have no car, not enough money for a plane/bus ride, and could never convince my parents to take me without coming out to them.

I'd love to, but I'll have to wait a few years.

I have never ever heard of these conferences or groups before I came to EC and heard about them here. What are the groups and what do they do at the conferences?

I was in boston last year and I'm flying to Germany March 19 and staying there for 2 weeks :(, so I wouldn't be able to make it....vacation. My parents wouldn't let me go there anyways by myself because i'm 16 but i'm almost positive if I told them I was gay and they knew it meant a lot to me they would let me go fly out there probably with my brother or someone.

To be honest I don't know what they're like. I've never been to one before. I live in massachusetts though, so our school's GSA is taking a little field trip. Should be good times.
