If you find that Full Spectrum in Adobe Reader seems rather slow when scrolling etc, try installing Foxit Reader and using that instead. It is a much more lightweight PDF viewer and does not seem to get bogged down by large high resolution pages.
It's available free here http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/index.html (choose one of the versions without the browser toolbar).
