So it turns out that a British Citizen resident in Ireland can be called up for Jury Duty in the exact same way an Irish Citizen can be (due to the way Ireland succeeded from the UK we can vote in the Dáil (Irish Parliament)) and guess what I have been called up From what I can gather 90% of it is spent sitting around waiting to be called, and knowing my luck I would get a trial about something dull like benefit fraud or something uninteresting. Anyone here had to do it
unlucky... My dad could get out of jury duty (and almost anything else) by writing a letter, but he had like mega qualifications and a semi-important job and such.
