Braces!

I had braces for three years in my twenties. The pain was worth it. People compliment my smile all the time.

 

I hated having braces but they were worth then my dogs chewed up 2 of my retainers and now they have shifted a lot

 

I never had braces, and probably never will. I wouldn't complain if I had them, but I'm fine without them, as well.

 

I have braces, and, yes, I look less sexy But some ppl suit them. Hopefully I'll get them removed by august.

 

I did. It wasn't too much fun and was a major relief when I got them off. Orthodontist's office gave me a massive mug of candy.

I had braces from 14-17. My teeth were beautiful, but I stopped using my retainer and now the bottom row has shifted slightly so I'm contemplating getting them again real soon.

 

Never had braces, but I think they're adorable. You've got nothing to worry about in the looks department.

 

I had braces through middle school and I must say, I find braces rather endearing. And to think of what you get in return... I'd date a guy with braces, though I'm afraid you're a little young. :lol:

 

I'm going to have to get braces, soon. My teeth are slightly crooked, and I have an under bite. I need to get that fixed.

actually, i've seen a significant number of people your age and younger get braces, only to get them again in their late teens, your body is changing young man! oh well, just take extra care of them.

 

I agree, the pain is worth it after all the compliments you get from people : )
Imo it goes like glasses: they look good on certain people.

 

I have braces! I also don't really mind braces on other people. I suppose they're neutral. I don't really think of them as a turn-off, just something that person has. I'm more concerned about the person wearing them, honestly.

 

I did have braces...until five days ago!
But, seriously, after a while you don't notice them, and no one else really does, either. I'd say that less than a seventh of people I've talked to have realized that I got them off; especially for teens, no one is really looking at you. But, as for your intangible sexiness, I'm sure that it's gone unchanged, or even enhanced.

 

Iv'e had mine for a year and still have a year to go. you get used to them after awhile.

 

Oh god, braces... I've had them twice :dry: I'll never forget the day I got those damn things off!

Do they make you look less sexy? Well, I don't know. In my case, at least the first time, they seemed to make me more sexy, which was kind of weird (though I won't lie, I liked the compliments ). I became well-known for my braces and everyone was always talking about them, but then after a year everyone was telling me to hide them when I smiled. The second time, not many people noticed them, though a few people noticed when I got them off.

 

I think braces make people look cuter.
