So, who's your hero or role model in life, rather they be fictional or real.

I don't have any personal heroes i idolize or imitate, but my role model (sorta) is my mom, when i have to set an example for others.

    So who's yours'

I model my personality as a combination of Morrie Schwartz and Liam Neeson's character from Taken. I'm as peaceful and loving as can be, dedicated to empathy, knowledge, and spreading happiness. But if anyone does something completely unacceptable especially after a second chance or two, they can expect to be *thoroughly* wrecked in one form or another. I hope I never have to do it to anybody, but I have seen that some situations call for no mercy.

I added this second part because I just saw the movie "Identity Thief." It was clearly ridiculous, but upon meeting my identity thief, it would get ugly fast. :S

Well I guess Patrick Stump is a huge role model for me in music. I love his writing with Fall Out Boy and independently, plus he's got great fashion sense.

... Except when he dyed his hair blonde... I thought he became a Nazi. It was kinda scary.

Oh and my mom. Yeah, I know that sounds kinda cheesy, but she's one of the nicest people in the world and puts everyone before herself. I admire that aspect of her and that she's independent. She always strives to do her best by me and my little sister and she's just a really great person.

I like Will from Will & Grace. He has this attitude that I'm a person that happens to be gay. My sexuality is only part of who I am. Maybe Anderson Cooper as well for a role model.

I don't have one right now, but my first (and only) role model was my chemistry professor freshman year. He was hilarious and knowledgeable and a great teacher. I didn't like chemistry and still don't; however, he made the subject so fun, and he presented it so well, that I considered taking a few additional courses in it. I was still planning on becoming a professor myself, so I hoped that I would be half that awesome when I was in my sixties.

Then he died three-quarters of the way through the semester.

Even though I doubt the professor could even math my name to my face, I'm still thankful that I took his class. Having it to look forward to helped me through some of the more emotionally difficult parts of the semester. I just wish it hadn't ended the way it did, but, as Vonnegut would say, so it goes.

I don't know... But I would say Macklemore because of what he does for the LGBT community.

She's a great role model! People made fun of her, but she had the last laugh. And at least in her movie version, she ended up being smart AND face-melting hot.

    I actually have 3, well tech 4.
    - Nelson Mandela, obv. reasons lol.
    - Rick Allen, because he kept his dream alive rather than give up on himself after he lost his arm. He is now one of the best drummers of all time.
    - My aunts, they are the reason I came out to my family. I knew if they could be together and be happy I had no reason not to come out. They really inspired me.
MentalMe9917, is your avatar part of a Suicide Silence album?? Or does it just look similar to one?

I don't idolise people. Sometimes, I can become inspired my someone's strength or passion, but no one ever becomes my hero. I dunno, I guess I'd rather become a better version of myself, instead of someone else.

There are people I admire, either for what they stand for or for what they've done.

However, I've never had heroes or role models.

I don't think I have one in particular. I look at my friends and people I know for realistic advice more than I do actors, poets, celebrities of any sort, political figures, etc etc.

I guess my friends are my role models. They've been through some amazing things I'm not sure i could myself.

Foxface! She's cunning, crafty, stealthy...I love her

Otherwise in real life it would be Steve Prefontaine the American running legend from the 70's and 80's
