 Don't pick Australian you silly bugger we have funny accents and I find the country to be a tad boring. But hey it's your choice. (!)
As for me I'd totally change to French because I feel like that's where I should have been born and raised. (*hug*)

Well I wanna permanantly live in another country, or at least live in another country for an extended period of time. However, if I was to do that, I would prefer to have dual citizenship, so that I could travel freely and easily between the two countries and can still call myself an Aussie, cos even tho it has some faults, I love being an Australian (as I'm sure many of you are proud of your own heritage)

The two places I would consider living in for a long time would be Englad (pref London, even tho it's hell expensive) or Canada

Well, I had German citizenship until I turned 18 (since my mom is 100% german, all her kids were born with dual citizenship, as my dad was american), then I had to choose between Germany and the US, which I chose the US =P

I'm quite happy being from the US  Though I have considered moving to the UK/Australia... lol, maybe even Japan :astonished: (If i ever learn japanese -.-)

Re: ever considering to change nationality?

Gee I didn't realise I was so lucky: I'm Canadian by birth, Australian by descent via my dad, and later this year I'm going to apply for British citizenship via my mum, which will be awesome because that effectively grants me full EU status--yay lots of working/studying options!

    So yay for tri-nationality!

Is that a German law? Because I thought you could hold dual nationality in the US now? Actually, I don't just think that: I know it.

    I know, right?

It was so cool being able to walk through Australian customs in the "Australian citizens only" line. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I think (so you should still check this out) that if you are are only going to be in Canada for six months, you don't need a visa because you are a Commonwealth citizen. Or maybe more because you're on a list of approved countries. Kinda like I didn't need a visa to enter the UK or France but up until a year or two ago I would have needed a visa to enter the Czech Republic. Or maybe I still do.

Well, i've just changed my passport to Irish, so Im now an Irish citizen and not a UK citizen :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: (my mum was born in waterford).

I could also get Guyanan citizenship because my dad's dad was born there. But why would I want that ? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

So yesh, I am no longer English, Im Irish
