okay so i just got a message from my friend about when Bucyrus High School (of Bucyrus, Ohio) took part in the National Day of Silence. I and my BFF Myra also took part but we go to a different school. this person actually had the nerve to send this in: [sorry may need to zoom in a little]
OMG! I live 15 miles from Bucyrus. lol Anyways, I don't think citing the Bible is a good excuse to be hateful. People need to follow their hearts and not a several thousand year old book. No offense.
it didn't stop their either. one woman went on to say that homosexual men are the leading cause of the spread of HIV. Which scientific fact (According to my Biology teacher) is that its HETEROSEXUAL males that are the leaving cause. One girl counter acted the articles by explaining what the Day of Silence was for. But today another person wrote in saying that we are being hypocrites by getting upset by what they are saying. but i would like to point out that NEVER in that girls article did she say that Christianity is wrong. BUT every time i read one of the articles i see "Homosexuality is wrong." I guess we're just kind enough and a bigger people to not directly bash them back.
