According to many sources, Mariah Carey,38, has aloped with her boyfriend of 1 month rapper/actor,Nick Cannon,27. this last Wednesday. It has been confirmed by family members of Cannon who have said "If that's what he wants, then we're happy for them." They sound less then enthusiastic of their new in-law. Cannon bought Carey a 2 million dollar custom made ring for their wedding which took place at Carey's home in the Bahamas. It was a private ceremony with only close friends and family.

Carey first met Cannon on her set of her new video "Bye Bye." He will also appear in "Bye Bye's" sequel video for her new song "Love Story."

I give them about half a year. What do you guys think?

Also, there was no prenup for the marriage so if the marriage is a bust.............. He'll be wealthy beyond imagination!

Haha, he's just hit the jackpot! They'll divorce, he'll get rich, and probably become a minor celebrity himself, appearing on reality tv programmes and trying to start a music career or something.

They all do in the end...
