So I just had to post this because I am "incognito" on my tablet which means that where I am online won't show up in my search or browser history. I finally decided to read the warnings when you open a new tab about the things it won't protect against..,

-websites that collect or share information about you
-internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
-malicious softwear that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys

    And then...

    -survelliance by secret agents
    -people standing behind you

I'm literally dying. :roflmao: :eusa_clap

Anyone else have strange/funny computer warnings? :eusa_danc

You think it's funny, but that's no joke. If you're trying to be secret on the internet, those are very valid concerns. People looking over your shoulder is one of the biggest security flaws in digital security, and federal agents really do track people on the internet. Don't think incognito mode is a secure, encrypted proxy server or anything.

Incognito mode is just "hide your porn viewing from your parents" mode. That's all.

Pretty much. Of course, if porn weren't seen as shameful (why should it be?), we teens wouldn't have to hide our internet histories.

I also use it as "browser to google obvious questions I should know" mode... I don't even know why I use incognito I have my own computer.

    All the best.

Yea but the wording and the obviousness of it all. It kills me.

Pret Allez lol that and its my "hide any and all LGBTQ activity from computer challenged parents" mode :icon_wink
