    Enough talk about the ideas of obtaining a straight pill, most of us seem to agree that we have grown to prefer ourselves as we are. That is not a real difficult decision. The incoming generations of the world are starting to becoming more and more accepting of LGBTQ individuals, so lets assume for this topic that being of a certain orientation didn't automatically cause any added struggles to ones life.

    If it was in your ability to alter the sexuality or orientation of another or multiple individuals around you, do you ever think you would use it? Now I know we're all morally inclined to say no, but how many of us actually believe that they would never fall into possible temptation. When we were just kids, wanting to have someone close to understand us. When we were distraught and broken-hearted over the love we could never have. Maybe they would still not love us back after, but would the chance alone be enough to seduce us.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I......... Well, I would like to believe that I wouldn't. I am at least confident that the decision would not be easy if I did.
    I trust intellect, reasonable Gen. I just don't quite trust all of the other sneaky bastards in my head. >_>
    I would do it to the homophobic bigots. Teach them a lesson, and open their eyes. Or anyone who has let privilege get to their heads.
    'Twould be morally wrong, as you say, to interfere with someone like that without their knowledge or consent. I'd probably try to avoid ever coming into contact with such pills, in order to be sure that I wouldn't do it. It might be tempting, but giving it a homophobe could lead to their extreme distress and suicide; we already know that homophobia kills teenagers in schools, and that's not something to wish on anyone, regardless of their past deeds.
    Not that we can ever know how we'd really react in these situations.
    :lol:
    Abso-fucking-lutely not. The idea is appalling to me. I wouldn't want someone sneaking a straight pill in my drink without knowing, so I'm sure as hell not going to sneak a gay pill in someone's drink.
    I hate to admit that I would consider it.
    I wouldn't do it, but I'd want to.
    Nope. Just because you've made someone gay doesn't mean theyd automatically become attracted to you..
    As for using it to turn homophobes gay... The problem is not so much just that they hate gay people, it's that they dont make decisions based on reason. They'd probably just end up racist gay people or biphobic or something.
    I wouldn't. I don't want anyone slipping me a straight pill, so I'm not going to slip anyone a gay pill. Also, drugging people isn't on the right side of my moral compass.
    I would never, id take a straight pill cos i still cling to my life plans.
    I have never had a real straight crush, i find people tht are out as gay more attractive than straight guys most of the time. Its the confidence thing i reckon. If i know theyre not interested then somehow my head just doesnt attach those feelings to them :slight_smile:
    I deff agree with the straight pill because of my life plans.
    But as for the second part, I am extremely jealous of you. I obsessively crush over a straight guy at least once a day. It would be really hard not to turn one of them gay, but I wouldn't. I'd want to sooooo badly, but I wouldn't
    No. People shouldn't have to change a part of who they are because of my whims.
    It would create a major trust issue somewhere down the line, I don't think I would jump into bed with the person who'd done that to me if I was in that position.
    I have a really good friend who I love, and she loved me before I came out to her. I'd turn her gay, probably.
    And I'd give them to everyone at Westboro Baptist :wink:
    But yeah, it'd be wrong on so many levels.
    I'd toss 'em out like candy. The fun I could have down in Washington, DC alone! Then, I'd hit up The Westboro Baptist 'Church. Then, onto Fox News. Oh, the sheer joy of the mischief alone :slight_smile:
    Then, to dissolve millions of them in Russia's water supply...
    Haha! :lol:
    But I would never. My brain would constantly remind me of what I have done.
    The guilt would ruin it all.
    Also, I've only had tiny crushes on guys up to this point so no strong emotions to drive me.
    Okay, I said I wouldn't change anyone, but for them I'd make an exception.
