I was wondering what people thought of 'LUGs', both as a label and as the people.

(a LUG is a Lesbian until graduation)

Uh, if people wanted to label themselves as such... They'd be acknowledging that they want attention, right? So are these people attempting to only be with women until they graduate, or is this for the 'sexy' factor to appeal to straight guys who like girls making out and stuff? 'Cause in the latter case, they'd technically be more like bisexual until graduation (BUDs, I guess... Heh).

When I say label, I don't mean so much as they label themselves, but it's typically a label applied to them after graduation. Like if a girl has only been with girls (saying she's a lesbian) and then marries a guy, or something like that. It's typically not a self-applied label.

Oh. Well, in that case, I think it's a harmful and degrading label. There are few instances, if any at all, where people can tell others what their sexuality is.
