So, I'm curious, does anyone on here ever roleplay? Like online and stuff, just to make that clear. Myself, I do, though I haven't for a while now. Mostly because I have a lot of trouble finding people who might want to do a lesbian roleplay with me. I just tend to prefer those. (Being lesbian myself and all that.) Though every time I find someone they seem to want me to play a guy character. The reason I make this thread is, mostly boredom, but yeah.
6 years and not planning to stop anytime soon. I'm on 2-3 sites at the moment, the first one being bigger than the others, since it is not only concentrated on a single theme or a single RP.
Not since back in the daaaaaay! MSN chat rooms were crazy before they got shut down.. I think I was like 14 at the time? 15 maybe.. Literally everyone was there and every need served... you wanted gay werewolf roleplay? there were like 400 people there.. Mind you that wasnt really my thing, but still.. You could just start your own channel for whatever you wanted.. no mods, no admin, no age restrictions, no censoring.. nothing! It was pretty much just like IRC except linked to something that every average non-nerd kid knew how to use (msn messenger)
I think it's a good deal of fun, and allows one to be very creative: you can imagine yourself as whatever you want, in any setting, in any time, at any age. I like the limitless possibilities. It's also very much a form of collaborative fiction to me; I like to RP in small to decent sized paragraph format, and it's a good way to practice writing in general, especially dialog. When I have writers block for more serious writing, I find a good RP helps break this.
Been RPing for about a year now, unless you count D&D in which case, it's been about 7 years. Anyway, I mostly do MLP RPs, though I also do the occasional furry RP. I have also done one where I play as a demoness (a succubus, to be precise) who comes to the human world so satisfy her lust.
Yes. Not sure if this is role play: I made a Facebook profile that is supposed to be a friend of mine. I play both me and her in my friend group and no one else knows about it except the 2 other friends of mine doing the exact same thing.
