    Yo

To a supposed significant other, what would you call them, besides their name? I like the romance of "Darling," but I like the frankness and nature of "Sweetie."

So, what are your most-liked pet names?

I honestly have no idea, I don't seem to have the greatest luck thinking up quote unquote "nice" or "sweet" names. If I was ever in a relationship, I suppose it would have to be with someone where the two of us could joke around with that type of stuff with each other.

I call every male I see "bud." If I don't know your name, you're "bud."

I do catch myself moaning that every now and then.

My girlfriend and I use a lot of random silly nicknames, but "gorgeous" is what I use most often.

I would probably feel most comfortable calling them 'babe' first word that comes to mind, tbh.

That just makes me think of this Pokemon :frowning2: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Deerling_(Pokémon)

Haha, but I'm being serious :frowning2:

I probably have many I'd use but sweetie or cutiepie or sweetheart or teddy bear come to mind at the moment. Yeah, I'm cool like that. I don't use such endearments often, though.

Well my dog has a nickname. It's "my little Poopsie."

  8. I've never had someone to use pet names on, but I assume I would use the same ones I use on my pet pig. I call her "gorgeous" or "beautiful" the most often, but I also use "sweetie," "sweetheart," and "baby."

"Darling" sounds too formal to me.

I think I called my ex-girlfriend "babe" more than I called her by her actual name haha.

That was the only one I used. She called me "babe" with the occasional "sweetie" thrown in but I much preferred the former.

I originally didn't think I'd be into pet names, but that changed once I got into a relationship, haha. I call my boyfriend a bunch of embarrassing pet names, 'precious booty' being the most used. xD I've called him 'babe' maybe 2 or 3 times ever, and I call him 'my lord' if I want to make like royalty. Also call him 'lahv' sometimes too since that's how he pronounces the word 'love.' I'm such a cheesy mofo. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'd probably use "Hun" or "Babe"... idk what I'd like to be called though.

For myself: I like being called hun/honey; babe/baby; love or sweetheart/sweetie

For a significant other: I use babe/baby or sweetie. Depends on my mood though. Sometimes I'll just call them by their real name. Learned the hard way that they're not too keen on being called "dude"

I generally call my boyfriend: mister, babe, baby or mi amor. He usually calls me Jare Bear, not my favorite nickname ever but it stuck.

OMG YOU GUYS HAVE TO WORST TASTE IN PET NAMES
    Srsly u all suk

Anyway, to be honest, I've always hated names like Babe, Love, Darling, Sweetie, etc.
They all sound super girly, and I personally really hate the name 'babe' being passed around.
    It sounds SO dumb!

If I were to be in a relationship, 'Pumpkin' will definitely be a keeper.
I think it's the cutest thing to call someone, especially if they're bigger than me.

I don't think I'd make a huge deal out of what I'd want my boyfriend to call me.
If he wants to call me 'babe' so be it... *shudders*
To be honest though, I think Button's rather adorable. Same with "Kiddo".

Sis calls me sweetie. I call her babe. Sometimes, we call each other by anime names.
