But I've notice there are a lot of younger people on here, in the range of high school or college. So, I'm curious. Where do you plan, or where are you going, for college? What major are you planning for? Personally, I plan on going to Johnson and Wales in Charlotte, North Carolina and majoring in Baking and Pastry arts. I wanna know about you!

And I'll be majoring in Psychology, and I'd like to minor in something regarding Child Services, but I'm not sure what yet.

My first choice right now is Iowa State University, but I'm really interested in going somewhere out on the West Coast. Only problem with that is my parents would freak out. They really want me to stay somewhere close to home.

Stanford University (Early Action application) (tie) 1. MIT (tie) 3. Frank W. Olin College of Engineering 4. Harvard University 5. University of Pennsylvania, Wharton 6. Rice University 7. University of California, Berkeley That's the list for now. I think I have a good chance of getting into at least one of those, so I'll see how it goes (one year and I'll know).

I wish you some serious luck with a list like that! College admissions this year was ridiculously competitive, and supposedly next year is going to be the peak of competitiveness. My list was comparable: Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Pomona, Georgetown, Middlebury. I finally decided on Georgetown just recently, but I was rejected from all the Ivies I applied to except Dartmouth, and I really thought I had a shot at the others! Well, I guess if I work my ass off in college, there's always grad school at a place like H.Y.P. edit: BTW I have a friend at Olin who absolutely loves it! Free tuition is hard to pass up, not to mention its an incredible new school Last edited by Kovax14; 6th May 2008 at 03:53 PM.. | |

I would love to go to Smith College in Massachusetts, but every time it gets brought up my mom calls it a lesbian school. If there's any all-female college out there- she won't hesitate to call it a lesbian school. I fell in love with Smith before I knew it was all-girls >.< Whether it's boys or girls, I don't scare! I just want a good private school. |
