What do you guys think about rain ?

    well, this is random
    i just feel like asking you guys about rain
    so.. what do you guys think about rain ?

    for me, i think, when it rains, it was when i can feel myself again
    it is as if like the rain calms my nerves down
    and i'll suddenly turn happy when it rains
    sometimes i'll put my raincoat on and just stand there under the rain
    and i thought it's kind of romantic to have a date under the rainy season and share a kiss under the rain (*hug*)

    Australia was in a major drought for most of my life, so I don't think I'll ever stop being happy and grateful when it rains.

    I love the rain, similar how I like snow, it's a really romantic weather for me.

    I like the rain. Tis part of a process which enables us to live. It doesn't mix well with smartphones, unfortunately. But I don't deal well with sun, so its better than that.

    I live in Indonesia which is quiet near to your country and it rains a lot this year
    it even flood when it rains for 2 days long!

    we don't have snow in my country but i do really hope that someday i can visit a country and witness the first snow fall :icon_bigg

    I don't like huge stormy downpours, I'm very glad to be inside when they happen! :grin:

    But when it's just drizzling a bit and I'm out and about or on my way home, I inevitably burst into a rendition of "Singin' in the Rain". And anything that gives me an excuse to spontaneously burst into song is a good thing in my book! :music:

    A nice rain every once in a while can be pretty rejuvenating, but I couldn't take rain every day.

    Caution: It's drizzle. Rarely actually rains. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
    (I've known some people that "like rain," then move to Seattle and complain that it never rains and only "drizzles" - so I always feel the need to point out the distinction. :lol:slight_smile:


    Precipitation and dark, cloudy skies are for me what apparently sunshine and clear skies are for most other people. Just makes me feel more happy about the day in general.

    (Meanwhile sunshine in general always reminds me of John Gardner's Grendel, where one of the first things Grendel does in the book is look up at the sky and flip off the sun...:lol:slight_smile:

    I love the rain. I love watching all the raindrops smack against my window, and the sound of the rain hitting the ground is so soothing.

    I don't mind a drizzle. I'm like you I like it to be overcast because then I can go outside and actually do things.

    We get a lot of rain here in England. Provided I can be out of it, it's nice enough. Especially after the air has been humid.

    I absolutely love thunderstorms. So exciting to see and hear and feel the power of nature.
