What's more important to you ? a love affair or general friendship ? tis is a very simple question than im wondering about all people and i have to say after soo many years i still wanna find out this about people in general but i cant just go out and ask people at random X_X soo i hope some give me some insight
I didn't vote because I would have liked to have chosen a 'neither' option. I have and will never value my friendships over my relationships, or vice versa. I don't see where I would ever need to favor one over the other. If my significant other and friend are at odds, I am always going to side with the one that I believe is truthfully right. Likewise, if my boyfriend/husband doesn't care for my friends, I couldn't care less. If my friends don't care for my boyfriend, I couldn't care less. If either don't care for my family than we would actually have that sentiment in common. Lol
I think these aren't necessarily exclusive. You ought to be friends with someone you love, but people aren't always.

I love friendship. It's the basis for my romantic relationship. We're married, but we are also best friends, and that's the most important part.
Do you mean, with someone we want to date or in general? In general, I wouldn't change my friends for anything. 99% are females, so I'm not going to pick a love affair with them. In terms of guys, I'd probably just prefer a love affair. I am really immature in that department, I know...but I just don't see the sense of having guy friends right now. I cannot separate them from a friend point or a we might date point. It sucks but it's what it is.
