I went to a friend's open house earlier, and the teacher I sent the letter to a couple months back was there. He hugged me as I walked into the restaurant and said to me, "I'm proud of you. I've known you were gay since your freshman year, and you and Brendan really make a cute couple. But I'm proud of you for being willing to tell me."
He and I really hit it off as he was a government teacher, and I watch politics like I watch college football. That and he's just a cool guy to begin with.
Haha I love nice, supporting teachers! In my new scho there's only one teacher who knows I'm gay (because he's probably gay as well), and he's a really nice, smiley fella. If only he was engaged... (Maybe he's engaged to a woman and then my assumptions will be all wrong lol)
I had the same thing with a teacher. Only problem is, my teacher is PURE EVIL. At least to me. He's sort of like Regina George, he'll choose one or two students to like and then he'll hate the rest. Anyway, everyone assumed he was gay, until one day he referenced straight marriage. He was talking about the latest celebrity gossip in French and said "Oh, one day I want to be just like Brangelina!" So then we though he was just a VERY effeminate straight guy. But it turns out that our school has a policy against openly gay teachers for the first sixth months of their teaching because some parents have tried to get teachers fired for being gay and it's harder to fire them after six months. Turns out he's gay.
