People who don't know, and think all Arabs/Persians are terrorists or that all Muslims are terrorists. I don't mind whether if an Arab is Muslim or not, if they pray to a God 5 times a day, so be it, if they don't no problem.

I like Arab friends, their food is good...

I live in the United States and people look at me funny....that wasn't a good example....
What i'm getting at is that no matter where you go, you'll be looked at in a certain way, judged, and even left out... But you can't let that make you feel less of who you are. They look at you because you're different from them.

I'm in the U.S. and I certainly don't move away from them. I think they're a hoot. I seem to find them, or the other way around. They can be a lot of fun though traditional, are very direct, and, yes, they can cook.

Oh god the food...so good....*trails off*

Anywho, I won't lie. I know some people in my own family that are like that. My own brother in law once moved from his apartment because he said that he didn't trust the people who lived around him. I later found out that a lot of them were arab college students who come here.

But that's an extreme example, and one I regret to say that is within my own family. Its very rare for me to see that. I, for one, welcome you

*whispers* just bring some food... *cough*

First off. I was so sad when the Persian place across the street closed. The food was so good.

Second, now I want Persian food for dinner.

That said, I have defiantly seen racism against Arabs. Though not all of us are like that. I my self couldn't care less what someones heritage is. In my mind there are only 2 kinds f people in this world. Assholes, and not an asshole. As long as you are the latter you are cool with me.
