So as you guys know, i hate fast food, but if i had to subway So i have a question, what are your fav. fruits and veggies ---------- Post added 29th Jul 2013 at 05:25 PM ---------- Apples, green beans, asparagus, bannanas, grapes, lettuce, green peppers,
Being a vegetarian, I could probably go on too long if I tried to do a comprehensive list of my favourites So I'll just have to pick out sharonfruit for fruit and butternut squash for vegetable.
I love mangos. Also nectarines, peaches, and blueberries. Don't like veggies. Eat them all the time, but ugh.
My favorite vegetables are green beans, asparagus, broccoli, tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, ... so many. There are a ton more I could list. >_< My favorite fruits are strawberries, cherries, bananas, pears, apples, and so many more. >_<
It would be easier to list what I don't like. Grapefruit. It tastes like the bitter vomit after drinking a few too many. Eggplant. The flavour is nice when cooked right but the texture is just awful. That said, I can still enjoy a stuffed one or well-seasoned cold eggplant meze. Peppers, including bell peppers. They are commonly eaten in Turkey but I don't think they taste like anything except hot. Paprika and chili powders are another thing. My favourite vegetable is broccoli, but I love chickpeas as well. My favourite fruit is either pineapple or blueberry.
I love fruit and veg, with a slight bias towards fruit. Vegetables: carrots, green beans, runner beans, baby spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce Fruit: strawberries, cherries, raspberries, grapes, apples (Granny Smith and Pink Lady in particular), pineapple, apricots, kiwi fruit
The only vegetation I don't like is mushrooms. I also don't really like some nuts (walnuts and similar mostly). I know mushrooms aren't plants but they come under the same umbrella for cooking purposes.
Mate. I'm in recovery from anorexia yet my intake today was a yogurt apple juice jacket potato with cheese and beans banana milkshake (so apples and bananas right?) and now vodka. lots and lots of vodka. More vodka you say? Yes sir. More vodka on it's way. Maybe if broccoli was covered in vodka then I'd eat it. Maybe
I like them all! My parents were really lucky I wasn't a picky eater. I even have taken a liking to previously distasteful vegetables like bitter melon. For fruit favorites, they would be mango (especially green ones), coconut, banana (incl. plantains and baby bananas), jack fruit, honeydew, avocado, cherries, kiwi, large grapes, "pluots", and many more.
Veggies: I can't think of anything I don't like except for most leafy greens. I like spinach, but the rest are just gross. Fruits: Again, it's hard for me to think of any I don't like. However, I'm highly allergic to mangoes. I have to carry an epi-pen with me whenever I go out to eat. It seems like they put it in everything nowadays!
Being Irish, Potatoes  I like most Veggies but in moderation, I don't like too much lettuce on a salad & plenty of fruit, especially Melon
-Fruits: Pineapple, grapes, watermelon, peaches, pineapple, strawberries, pears, blueberries, more pineapple, did I mention pineapple? But in all seriousness, the list goes on and on. I just love fruit. -Vegetables: Carrots, potatoes, and assuming they're cooked the right way: green beans, baby asparagus...that's about it.
Well I like them all but, but I prefer the more exotic ones Fruits : Honey Dew, Sharon Fruits, Lychees, Longan, and of course.. Durian Veg: Kora ( Lady Finger ), Winter Melon
I can eat every fruit or vegetable but I have my favorites. Vegetables will be Brocolli, Cauliflower, Cabbages, Carrots, Corn and Beans (any beans will do) Fruits will be Mangoes, Banana, Apples (Fuji), Watermelon, Coconut and Pears
It's far easier to say what I don't like. I don't like Asparagus, Broccoli or Cauliflower and the only fruit I didn't like so far is Durian (stinkfruit)
Vegetables? Asparagus, spinach, brussel sprouts, broccoli, green beans (The fresh kind), peas, and corn. I basically like all the veggies that you hated as a child xD Fruits? Apples (The granny smith kind exclusively), pineapples, cherries, strawberries.
