    Alright so, as you probably know, a Gold Star Gay is a gay person who has never had a sexual or romantic experience with the opposite sex.

    Urban Dictionary: gold star gay

    Sometimes I've also heard this referred to as your 'platinum card'. So a gay guy who has sex with a woman for the first time loses his platinum card and is no longer a Gold Star Gay.

    If you're a gay guy who has never had sex with a woman, you are a Gold Star Gay.

    If you're a lesbian who has never had sex with a man, you are a Gold Star Lesbian.

    How many of you out there are Gold Star Gays? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:ride:

    And do you want to retain that title, or do you want to have an experience with the opposite sex, just to see how it feels?

    Are vaginas/penises too icky for you to want to have an experience with the opposite sex, thus you want to retain your Gold Star? Would it just be a waste of time?

    For those gays who did experience the opposite sex, do you regret it and wish you were still a Gold Star Gay, and thus still had a pure and unblemished record of gayness? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    This poll is for gay guys and lesbian girls only, obviously this term doesn't apply to bisexuals since you are attracted to both sexes, even if you haven't been with both. :icon_wink

    I've made out with a couple girls, but that's mainly when everyone's so drunk that it's no longer a sexual thing and is just something fun. I'd never want to take it further than that though. Quite frankly every part of a woman's body physically repulses me, so there's no chance I'm losing my 'Gold Star Gay' status.

    I've never done anything with a woman, and probably never will. I just like guys only. So I guess I'll be a gold star gay forever...(!)

    I've never had a sexual encounter with the opposite sex, but I used to be curious. I then got a job in Women's healthcare. Gold Star for life.

    Hmmm, not really sure if I can answer these. Haven't had sexual or intimate romantic experience with anyone. So far as romantic feelings in general, I'm kind of still trying to determine that, as strange as that may sound.

    I find nothing about the woman body attractive, I can stare at bare breasts and vagina's for hours and feel nothing below the waist.

    I guess that mean's I am a "Gold Star Gay". :/

    I'll figure I'll probably stay that way. At this point, I have zero interest in women sexually, and I really see no reason to risk an unplanned pregnancy, even though it is a remote possibility with good birth control practices.

    Never done anything with a girl, and never will. The only girlfriend I've ever had is also gay, which made me laugh so hard when I found out. :lol:

    Well, I've never even got to first base with a guy, so I guess that makes me a... gold star virgin or something?

    But I've certainly never done anything with a woman, and the last time a drunk girl threw herself at me I felt quite ill, so I think it's safe to say that I'll be a gold star gay for life.

    I'm a "gold star" but I don't see the big deal about it.

    I once hooked up with a guy, and afterwards, we were discussing our sexual past. I mentioned that I had once contemplated offering myself to a female friend of mine - she was 30ish, had had one sexual experience, and it was terrible. My mindset was that I felt I could give her a fun and positive sexual experience, and contemplated asking if she wanted one. The guy was horrified by this, and told me he sort of felt disgusted by the fact that he went to bed with "a false-identifying gay" and a "lying bisexual". He said he felt his "gold star was now tarnished", and he felt horrible about it all.

    I think the guy was kinda crackers.
