Omg I'm so bored and have nothing to talk about or do. So I'm going to let you guys talk about what you want to in this thread.
Never could really get into American Dad. It's not bad but there's just too many edgy animated family sitcoms going on right now. Join us for The Simpsons, followed by Family Guy followed by The Cleaveland Show followed by American Dad and by that point I'm rocking back and forth in the corner and speaking in tongues.
:roflmao: That gave me a good laugh. American Dad is the only animated show left that I watch. Family Guy was good...but then it got....meh.
Family guy lost me when it started getting really political. I loved Family Guy, but Seth McFarlane's political squawk box sucks.
Yeah, i do like the one where Barry doesn't take his pill and becomes unretarded and sounds like gary oleman. And the hot tub episode And all the gay episodes, especially when stan tries to be gay but he realizes its not a choice
This might as well be an American Dad Thread lol. I love this show. The jokes are funnier Han family guys and the Cleveland show
I never got into GoT but then again I've never gave it a chance...oh wait it's HBO, we don't get HBO. American Dad is a good sitcom.
^Game of Thrones. Again, I gotta watch that show. I've been told many times from friends and myself. I love American Dad, though. Out of Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park, Futurama and American Dad, I'd actually go with South park and Futurama with American Dad close behind. I love American Dad because it's a parody on stereotypical American culture BY Americans. So you know the jokes aren't really racist jokes. The whole thing is really what The Simpsons tried to be, but the characters were a little too twisted away from American culture (ie. Lisa, Marge and Maggy). The political jokes in The Simpsons weren't always relevant, either. However, American Dad can take about any topic and make fun of it in a way so that you GET it, and you see how ridiculous it is. For example, tonight's episode had the mom kick a black girl out of the house because she was left-handed. She then went on to say that left-handed people were the Devil's minions (Hmm, doesn't that sound familiar). Later on in the episode, the mom "came out" as left-handed. By then, I found it hilariously ironic that my boyfriend and I were watching a parody of what we go through as LGBT people. What was even better was that it was on our side of things. And Roger. Roger is probably the best cartoon character ever created.
