For me is My Song by Girls Dead Monster, and Letter to God by Linda Perry. I was trying to sing letters to god, and I got so choked up that I couldn't finish the song.

The Pet Shop Boys song Footsteps. My first dog was terrified of thunderstorms, so I would sit and comfort him on my lap. I would sing my changed lyrics version (I called it claw clicks) to him while cradling him in my arms. He'd typically stop shaking and fall asleep. It's been over 12 years since he died and I still can't listen to that song all the way through without crying.

    Skyscraper by Demi Levato (Lavato?)
I can't help but fully relating to that song and I just can't listen to it without it tugging on a heartstring.
    UNTITLED by Simple Plan
Pretty much the same reason as for Skyscraper

Rationalization: I'm a pretty depressed dude and my choice in music definitely reflects that.

A Little Fall of Rain - Les Miserables, it's a duet, of course I'm going to choke up because I'm singing it alone.

    Oh gods.

Reflection from Mulan. Not lying when I say that was the anthem of my adolescence. Especially now, with not meeting family expectations and dealing with who I am versus who I see in the mirror.

Already Gone by Crossfade. See above.

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Song of my last relationship.

Kiss It All Better by He Is We. It's a really good song, and the lyrics are a guy flashing back to when his girlfriend was shot and dying in his arms, telling him she wasn't ready to die and that it wasn't his fault. Cried when I first heard the lyrics.

Oh my, let the water works begin!

Only Hope - Mandy Moore : It's from one of my favorite movies, A Walk To Remember, and that movie always makes me cry, so whenever I hear this song, I just remember that movie.

Why - Rascal Flatts : Such a good song, but it's about suicide, and I've had friends who have tried and one who succeeded...I love this song, but its so hard to listen to...

Angel - Sarah Mclachlan : God, this song I just can't, they played it at my grandmothers funeral, and I just think of her whenever this comes on.

Oh my god, this is one of my favorite songs. I just can't stop loving it. Her voice, so pure. The lyrics, so powerful and, the song itself, so empowering. I just bawl whenever I hear this come on my iPod.

From This Moment. The lyrics are just...beautiful - no matter who you're singing/playing it to. Getting a lump in my throat just thinking about it
