Average crush(es) count?

I currently have zero. No, this post reminded me about a debate about polyamory, in which somebody suggested people only crush one at a time, suggesting humans are monogamous.

 

Lol yes, you're normal! I only ever seem to have one at a time though. Is that normal?

 

Right now I have no non-celebrity crushes. This is a good thing because all of my past real-life crushes have been on straight guys... (well one of them "used" to be gay but has since tossed himself back in the closet). I'm trying not to let myself fall for anyone else that I cannot have, but I acknowledge it could very well happen.

If we are referring to just attraction, then absolutely there are several guys I see on a regular basis that I consider quite hot. It's a different kind of thing than crush though as you know.

 

I may have had three in my lifetime. But I'm pretty sure I'm the anomaly here.

We can be anomalous together. Although I guess having three over your lifetime is a bit more impressive.

 

I think any number would be normal. Obviously if its really high then it could just be a sign that you are either really horny or in need of companionship.

I currently have none, its the holidays and i am stuck at home so there isnt really any one catching my eye.

I think the most i have had at any one time might be 3. But i find it difficult to distinguish between a crush and just attraction. I personally feel a crush is more than just loads of attraction...

 

I'm only crushing on one person, but after dating for like 3 days, she said she just wanted to be friends and never explained why. I'm still not over her.

 

I did crush on a few soap characters at a time ''yes I know that's sad but they were hot'' also a few older boys at School guess this makes me a crush slut it alright been called worse .

 

At the moment 0. Though when I do crush on someone it doesn't last very long...usually just a day or so and then I'm over it.

 

Currently just 1. I don't even know him or his name but he works at the gas station near my house and he's so SO cute. I just wanna strike up a conversation one day but I'm too afraid. :icon_redf

That's really it. I avoid big time crushes unless there's a chance it might actually happen. I'm tired of getting burned.

 

Crushing on 3 - one of them is a lesbian - and I'm in love with one of the 2 straight girls, unfortunately.

 

Well let's see. If a guy I find attractive and would get with if I could is a crush then I have approximately 137,406,929,328 of them right now. If it's someone I could be romantically as well as sexually attracted to if they were gay and/or interested in me, i have maybe 2 or 3. If a crush is someone I could realistically physically be with who I have both sexual and romantic interest in then I have none.

I don't crush too much, but right now I'm crushing on this incredibly good looking guy who works at a Sheetz gas station that I go to a couple times a week. It's insane how nice he is to stare look at.

 

I don't know enough people to crush on any of them! But I wouldn't turn down Emma Watson or Mai-chan if they offered ;D

 

I crush very often and get attached too fast... I don't really have a serious crush right now since I'm just going through a breakup, but I suspect that it won't be long...
