I'm talking this girl i met online and were doing an Audio thing where we talk to each other through recordings and she sent a recording saying something really cheesy and it made feel so weird and awkward

    she was like

"everyone makes mistakes, it just proves that were human"

and then she said "stop thinking petty of yourself, Your amazing okay?"

The way she said it was, like....it was made me feel so weird and awkward, like when I hear it, I squirm....

she said, in a blunt way...Like, it was straight forward..

I always get this way when people say cheesy things like that

I've experienced this all the time while on EC. It's great to hear a pick-me-up like that.

Not really. I can't get enough of people complimenting me. So...you know...

Seriously though: It's ok to feel that way. It might have been inappropriate for that level of bluntness with you at that particular point in your relationship, or maybe it was just unexpected and that's why you feel so uncomfortable, but I don't think the truth in what she said was cheesy or wrong at all.

It's easier to convey thoughts and emotions through speech than text alone.

No, it was unexpected, It was related.

But when I heard, I just squirmed. Like, I always do this when someone says something like "you're amazing" or "you're funny" or "Your're beautiful"

i dont know why, I just squirm
