Chat Room?

I didn't know that EC has a chat room.

I don't like chat rooms much, but I'll pop in once in a while to see what's going on in there.

 

I peek at it at least once a day. No one's ever in there!

 

I go on from time to time. No one's been online yet tho!

 

ummm i'll have to admit it was my idea, wasn't sure how sucessful it would be on this site though. Problem being that there's not enough members to make it a huge success. I think i've had about 2 or 3 conversations in there and that's it.

I think the only way to ensure that there are people in there, is to say arrange for people to all go on at x time. Make a post or something.

but meh i dont get on all the time i prefer my messengers but for those who dont have them ill talk to them on the chat room like i did last night!

 

I've been checking the chatrooms to see if anyoen has been on it and i usually see no one on....

 

ditto for me... I checked in a couple times when it was first added here and haven't been back as there was no one there

 

i'm in it now if anyone wants to chat....

 

I log on to the chat room whenever I go on EC.

There usually isn't anyone else on, though.

 

Well we seem to have quite a few members in the UK, USA/Canada and Australia. Although some of these cover a few time zones, maybe we can come up with a few times when at least several members from one country are likely to be on.

For example could we say 21:00 central USA/Canada time (whatever that's called) which allowing for the other time zones within those countries could be a reasonable evening time for everyone there?

Likewise could we say 21:00 central Australia time, if that would cover most of that country's time zones sensibly?

I'm sure most people within the USA/Canada and within Australia would know how many hours before/after the central time zone they are.

The UK is easier as we have just one time zone, so it would be easy to say 20:00 UK time for example (which would be 21:00 central European time).

Another good time when several people are around could be during the day on Sundays.

I jus got internet finally hooked up at my apartment last night. So i'm able to check more. Everytime i'm in chat room though its empty.

 

I don't think my daily schedule is structured enough to get on at a certain time, everyday. :lol:

I try to be on whenever I'm on EC.

 

Yeah. Me too. Its just that whenever i'm on there, no one else seems to be on. :lol:
