Summer's coming to an end, but it got really hot today. And muggy, as in 95°F (35°C) and muggy. Very miserable to be out in, your clothes feel like damp rags.

I'm not at all a fan of this manner of climate, and will in due time escape this southerly swamp for northerly climes.

So, do you like the heat? How hot is too hot? How do you deal with it? It seems harder than when it's cold, and you can add more layers of clothing...once you're wearing nothing, it can seem much harder to escape, especially without AC.

For me, it is too hot when everything is above 50 degrees.

Mostly I wear cargo shorts and t-shirts. I don't sweat as much like when I wear slacks or jeans. I start to sweat in the back of my knees doing something as simple as walking. It is an uncomfortable feeling.

My equivalent to a good weather day is when it is dark so it appears like it will storm or rain, windy, and 40 degrees or less.

But...the poll only goes up to 110. I lived in AZ for 9yrs. That's just an average hot summer day there (but it's a dry heat:thumbsup:).

I like the weather cool. It's more fun to warm up that way. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I can't handle above about 80 F.
Michigan's lakes make for some some insane humidity. I really enjoyed the couple times I was in Arizona and felt the dry heat. It's hot but it doesn't feel like you want to crawl out of your skin to cool down.

For me it would be somewhere between 23.9°C to 26.7°C
This depends on what I'm doing, but at tempertures like that or higher I constantly feel hot...I don't like the heat...
The only time I want it hot is when I want to go swimming! : D
I think I would do better in a coastal BC type climate. : P

I'm assuming you are talking heat index. Around here that makes a huge difference. I'm at the western end of one of the Great Lakes. If the winds are from the West, it is much drier, and temperatures feel much cooler. If the winds are from the East, it's more humid, and the acceptable temperature range is pushed down...

When it starts getting over 40c, the long pants become shorts and it starts to become hot.

Not sure it is just the heat index, a lot of times I'm boiling and my parents are cold or normal.

I've always grown up around heat so it's easy to get used to. I prefer cold weather but not much of a choice really... Anything higher than 105 F I'll start complaining.

Above 105 F is too hot for me. But below that I can handle.

South Florida resident here, so year-long high humidity is coloring my answer. Anyway, I usually regard 80 degrees as warm, and 85 bordering on too hot for outside activities. It's not yet unbearable, but it's a good round number for my comfort threshold. Inside a house would be a bit lower because there is usually little to no air movement as there would be outside, so 80 is as high as I'd let it get.

It's been 110* for the past few days. Today was 100* but it was MUGGY because of the monsoon rain here. Highest I've ever seen is 116* or so. I have no A/C in my car either (till I fix it). The car is hot, but the wind blowing in the window is still 110* so it's like you're in a blast furnace!

Pretty much the same for me, minus the Florida resident part. Am visiting Central Florida though, and I was about ready to quit the day on Monday (or was it Tuesday?) when it was 90+ degrees and probably like 80% humidity.

I love the spring time/early fall when the temperatures are ranging from 50ish-70 degrees. It's cool enough where you don't have to wear shorts but warm enough where you don't have to be bundled from head to toe. Anything above 90 is just one big nope.
