So a bit curious

I'm a furry, sort of. In the sense that I really like furry porn, and also I'd totally go for this look

 

Totally have no idea about the furry fandom.

What are the "rules" around showing your face, being in character etc.?

 

Hehe considering I'm kinda the same, I feel like it should be something I'd love.

But yeah, it doesn't really appeal to me to be honest. I'd just be obsessed with knowing who the other furries really are :lol:

I'm not a furry myself, but I'm sort of a 'furry ally'.

I would like to be able to turn into a cat, but pretending I am one when I'm not is something I outgrew at a fairly young age. And humanoid animals hold no appeal to me.

 

Um.... kind of. I'm not a total furry, but what some might call a "house furry" where basically I'll wear the cat ears and maybe look at some of the porn, but I'm not entirely enthralled in it. I'll go to a convention and be like "I should totally buy a kitty hat"

And then I remember I have one.. and a nekomimi, and my special Companion Cube mouse hat

 

I got it at Youmacon, I think... It was either Youmacon or Acen. I don't remember which.

My best friend is one. Some kind of demon cat. She got our whole school to call her by her fersona name. She really wants to go to a furry convention and I'm saving up to surprise her with a trip to one for her 18th birthday. Her parents don't like her being a furry and make fun of her for it. I let her keep all her furry things in my house so they don't throw them away, which they've done before. I got her a bunch of furry comics along with a new pair of cat ears and some paws for her birthday. She even made up a fersona for me and mostly calls me by my fur name. I admit it weirded me out at first, but hey it makes her happy and it kinda grows on you.

 

I love furry "art" :eusa_danc so much! I have lots of that "art". I don't know why I like it so much, since I don't dress up or even feel like an inner animal at all. I just like the "art" very much.

 

I know people who are into furries, draw fursona art, etc. I've considered making a fursona for the Hell of it, but I was like nah. I'm not super into the anthromorphic furries, but moreso into humans with animal characteristics (neko, kitsune, etc). I did have my fair share of RP characters that were lke that.

I remember being at AFO, had been on a phone with a friend, and this guy dressed up in a donkey costume walks in front of me and started mimicking me. Freakin' asses.

I dunno, I kinda find furry art cool, but I don't really go out of my way to find it. So long as it isn't overly sexualized, I'm fine - it's just not something I'm into personally.

I mean, I dig cat/wolf/fox ears/tails. I find them really cute on girls, and if a girlfriend of mine actually WORE something like that...

Kind of a weird thing I carried over from another forum. Sort of this weird long-running gag where there was one guy who was an owl, a guy who was a wolf, and there was a duck, a buffalo, an elf, a cat, I was a sheep and there were some others I can't remember right now. We weren't furries as far as I know, just weird people making weird jokes on the weird Internet.

Hence mah sheepy avatar.
