The stupidity of some people...

All right, so about 9 months ago I made a comment on a yuotube video concerning Sonic the Hedgehog and couples that appear in fanfiction. Here's what I said.

"I'm cool with gay couples.. I mean, I'm gay myself, but sometimes the fans make them so OUT OF CHARACTER.. I've read a very good Shadow/Amy fanfic too. I'm kinda partial to Sonic/Knuckles or Shadow/Knuckles, or even Knuckles/Tails,or Sonic/Tails if they bump Tails's age up quite a bit."

Well, 9 months LATER (20 hours ago) I get a reply from a certain Madisonthehedgehog91. Here's what she said.

"WTF??ur GAY!"

This is a sixteen year old, and she responds in such an immature way. Wow. I would have been cool with something like "I'm not too much of a fan of yaoi couples" or something like that, but THIS?? Coming from a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL? Wow.

Well, first of all, she doesn't know what she's talking about. She obviously wouldn't respond that way if she's ever been around a gay guy. And really, it's just some chick on Youtube, I wouldn't really be offended by it.

It takes a brave person to complain about the response he got about his views on homosexuality in fanfiction. And I commend you for sharing.

And as to your main comments, you're right. I did some work on a fanfic website awhile ago, and I expressed some confusion over one piece that had two characters - who were clearly straight in the show - as a gay couple. I was told I needed to stop being so homophobic. OK, then.

Anyway, notice how all the homophobic comments are poorly spelt. Here's another comment on the same video.
