Just wondering who here has a family member, besides themself, who is gay? and Have you told this family member about yourself?

I have an uncle who is gay, He's awesome! I haven't told him about me but Im confident he knows.

My aunt (who married into the family) has a gay brother who lives with his partner. They live uber far away though, so I never see them.

My sister goes through stages, sometimes she thinks shes bi and sometimes shes like "no way, im straight." but other than that, im the only one.

I have a cousin (by marriage) who is *rumored* to be a lesbian. She has never actually came out to us, but it is just assumed.We're not close at all, so I haven't talked to her.

As far as I know, I'm the only gay one in the family. My father's side is HUGE - he was one of nine kids, and they all had tons of kids as well. But they all live in rural areas, and I doubt they'd come out even if they were gay.

I have a lesbian and gay cousin who are brother and sister. I've seen my lesbian cousin a few times and only seen my gay cousin once, but I've never talked to them before.

Well, There's my gay uncle, my mum's Dutch cousin who's gay, me and our dog is a lesbian (we found this out when we were looking after someone's female dog

)

Also, my grandfather told me that he thinks one of my little cousins could be gay too. But despite all this I still feel awful about coming out.

One of my cousins is gay. I haven't seen him in almost 16 years though. Since then he has moved and currently resides in Australia so it is a little out of my way to swing by and say "hi."
