Am I short?

^ What resu said. Also, you're still growing at age fourteen. You are certainly taller than I am when I was fourteen... I was 4'11". I'm now 5'6" at eighteen.

 

That sounds perfectly normal. I'm considered tall now and probably wasn't much more than 5'5" at fourteen either.

 

16 and 5'1 You're fine I'm done growing but you probably have a few more years!

 

Im 5'4 and 17, but am also a girl but don't worry about it you will grow a lot more in years to come.

 

I'm the same height and age as you, so I'd say no. In fact, I'm one of the taller kids i n my grade so we're slightly taller than average or I go to school with midgets haha

 

As others have already said, you're *14*, you're still growing. Don't stress out about how tall you are right now. I'm sure that you're probably going to grow more in these next few years.

 

Um... you're not really short. You're probably on the taller end of your age. I was... about... 4'11" when I was 14. And I'm now 5'7"

 

I'm 5'9" at 15, but you'll keep growing; you're only 14. Provided you don't have difficulty sitting at the dining table, you're fine. :lol:

At your age, I'd say you're OK. You're still likely to grow.

Why is it important to you?

 

I actually have a grandmother who constantly bullies me about being too "short" (I'm 5' 6'' BTW). Who knows who keeps drilling into his head that he's not "tall enough, as men should be."

 

You're 14 so not really a 'man' yet and I don't mean that offensively at all, but I'm trying to say you have TONS of time to grow your height right now is pretty good for your age. I've known super short guys when I was around your age, I mean allot shorter than your height, who sprouted up to taller than me who's 5'5 in high school I'd say you're on the rather tallish/average side for your age and have plenty of time to grow so don't let your grams get to you

 

I have a friend who is fourteen, he is 4'8". He's supposed to be 5'11" by the time he is eighteen, so I wouldn't worry, especially if your parents are tall!
