What do you call your other half? I call my other half my girlfriend/partner. Never really have called her my wife. We have been together 16 years this November.
Ziggy. He's the only pussy I'll ever get and he only requires a bit of catnip and a scratch behind the ears. Kidding, kidding. Tend to prefer boy/girlfriend depending on gender of partner. My last partner was, at the time, my girlfriend (and I was their's. Funny how things change) I suppose if I ever ended up with someone uncomfortable with being referred to as either term, I'd go with partner. And so on, if I one day have a husband/wife.
First of all, congrats to the OP! (!) Second, I call him my husband or, more recently, my spouse or my partner.
Currently I call him my partner while he usually calls me his other half. If we ever get married (which the recent IRS ruling has made a much more interesting idea), then I imagine I'd call him my husband. We've been together just over 16yrs as well btw (Go Team!) Todd
What a coincidence. Probably my longest lasting relationship was with someone with that name. I'd occasionally cheat on it with it's identical twin though (shh, don't tell it ).
Well, I would say boyfriend/husband, but I'm currently single atm... I wouldn't be opposed to calling him my partner if he preferred that
Obviously I don't call him my husband, and while I usually just call him my boyfriend, I think we've moved past that point. I guess I could call him my partner now that we're living together.
Huh... in real life, either her name or "love"... that's it... calling her by her name is the most common. Online... SO
