I was shopping for shoes in a little shoe store with my mother. My feet are annoyingly large but short, making it difficult for me to find shoes that fit me and are good for school.

As I was trying on the millionth pair and getting a little frustrated, I see a man walk in. He was middle aged and brought in his daughter, a little girl maybe four years old. She was the kind of girl you wish you had as a little sister - quiet, polite and just plain adorable. I looked at her sit down on a bench and introduce herself to the store lady.

I finally found a pair of shoes that suited me and handed them to my mother so she could pay. As she paid for my new shoes, I took another look at the little girl and her father. He was standing in the boys' section, showing her two shoes and asking which one she preferred happily. I noticed that she wasn't dressed in girl clothes, but a boy's sports outfit.

It really warmed my heart to see a father let her daughter wear boy's clothes and buy her shoes she likes without blinking an eye. I wish there were more parents like this one! What are your thoughts?

Excellent! I don't know why people get so worked up over little kids wearing the opposite gender clothes. If a 4 year old boy wants to wear a pink shirt let him! If a girl wants to wear boy clothes let her! It's totally harmless.
