Okay so say you're boyfriend/girlfriend asked you to get rid off a spider what would you do with it?. Would you kill it or put it in a jar and put it outside or would you be to scared to go near it?

I'd be the one scared shitless on a chair telling her to kill it.

One of my future boyfriend's qualities is that he must get them away from me in some manner so that they don't return and then must wash his hands before he comes back. I'm half serious  :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I'm scared of them. I'll trap them but that's the extent of my bravery.

I'd kill the little bugger. They need to stay out of sight if they want to live around me.

I love spiders. I'd catch and release for him. I have a dedicated arachnid relocation vessel in the hallway.

Pretty much this. I mean if I absolutely had to I would do it, but honestly? She on her own!

I've already been in this situation.

She was the one who took care of it, trapping it in a tupperware and then flushing it down the sink. I'm a big baby when it comes to arachnids and other creepy crawly organisms. (Manliest boyfriend ever award.)

Depends on the spider. Obvious harmful venomous type? Kill it. The rest? Just shoo them outside. Although, me being me, they'd better be prepared for me to stick it in a critter keep and go "I present (name)!".

I'd be like, "Alright, alright. Your big, strong man can handle this. Calm down."

I'm an aracnophobe so I'd be there with a shoe, cringing as I try to kill it and then, when I've got spider guts to deal with, handing it off to him/her to clean as I refuse to look at the smushed remains.

I'd kill it. Spiders make me angry. I go after them with rage and fire in my eyes and smash them with whatever is available until they are D-E-D dead.

I am a relocator. Put them outside where they can put a dent in the mosquito and fly populations.

Funny story, I found a tick crawling on my leg this summer and pulled it off before it could dig in. I then saw a spider making its way across the floor. I decided to do a little experiment and put the live tick directly in the path of the spider. As one of the spider's front legs touched the tick it paused. Then it pounced! The whole room erupted in cheers. Spiders don't bother me. They take out the ticks and mosquitos that suck your blood and give you potentially debilitating or even life threatening diseases.

Oh and I love the misunderstood spider meme!

0.0 I'd -_- first twitch because there's a spider. Then after glaring at it I would finally find something to kill it with. Which is usually anything close to me, and it's more than one thing. So there would be a shoe thrown at it, possibly a book, if it's huge a chair...ANYTHING. Then after it is dead I would do a victory dance and talk to the walls saying this is what happens when you show yourself to me! Yup, that's what I would do.

If its a tiny one, I usually let it live. They don't hurt you. They really avoid you all they can, and they kill the flies and bugs. Where I live, flies and bugs are a huge problem, so I just let them wander around. They don't do anything. If they REALLY want me to kill it, I'll do it though.

Cockroaches on the other hand, must be purged from this earth.

I'd relocate [EDIT I'd relocate the spider]. Usually all I need is a piece of paper. I'd only squish if it were a dangerous spider.

I have discomfort with spiders, but, even so, I've been known to leave them be if they are in a place that won't bother me. I actually got sort of attached to one. A very low cost, very low demand pet, I guess.
