What age did you come out or are planning to?

I started coming out a month ago, so was 20. I'm 21 next week, so I'll be 21 when I come out properly (hopefully!)

 

I was thinking when I"m 19 or so. Possibly earlier to some close friends, but to the public 19. Hopefully. Highly doubtful.

I always told myself I would come out after graduating from university but now am thinking about doing it until I get my own place, God knows when that'll happen. I need a boyfriend or at least a roomie haha.

 

If my current plan works out, in about a year, when I'll be 21.

I don't know honestly. Right now I can't see myself coming out anytime in the foreseeable future, but I just don't know.

The first time I came out I was around 4 or 5. After being brainwashed for years into thinking I had to be a guy by therapists and the church I didn't come out again until I was 27. Being attracted to other women while having a "penis"/"natures middle finger" sure didn't help my cause at the time. :dry:

 

I started to come out to a couple of friends when I was 14. The list has been growing ever since that day. The last people I came out (more like got outed) to were my friend's two parents.

I'm planning to come out to my nephew the next time I see him.

I'm 21, and I came out to my mom and one friend this year. I have no idea when I'll come out to anyone else, but it probably won't be for quite some time.

 

I've just started coming out gradually to a few of my friends and my sister, aged 22. it's kinda funny cause most of them already had an idea haha. It's also really weird being asked what guys I like and stuff haha, but it's good it's out in the open now. I don't have any plan of when to come out to others, just gonna wait and see what happens lol.

 

Hoping to be out of the closet publicly by next year so 19 then.

 

I came out as bisexual at 35 years old. Just last week I came out as gay.

 

I began to come out earlier this year, when I was 25 years and 364 days old. The day before my 26th birthday, I changed my interested in on Facebook to read "Men and Women". I chose this day because I knew that my profile would be getting a lot of traffic the next day with all those birthday wishes. This was visible to a large number of my friends, but no family members.

A month later, I had both my first verbal coming out, as well as my first family member, my mom. Three months later, just last week, I came out to my stepdad.

 

I realized I was gay and came out at 21.

I came out gradually, but I plan to tell the rest of my family when I move out and can support myself, so probably when I'm 22 or at the latest 23. After that, I won't hide it anymore.
