I've spent weeks thinking about getting one, but I was always too worried about getting one, as I'm not sure how comfortable my parents would be about it. After a lot of questioning, I finally decided to just go for it. I went down to my mum just to let her know I was ordering something.

Me: I'm just gonna order some stuff off Amazon
Mum: That's cool. What are you getting?
Me: Just a book and a bracelet
    Mum: What's the bracelet?
    Me: A pride bracelet.
Mum laughs, then says: Oh god...

She then walked off, so I guess she was cool about it. I then popped down to get the tape measure to see how big it would be on me (I have rather small wrists), and she goes 'So what's a pride bracelet look like then?' I just reply, 'It's rainbow'.

So, it's in my basket, waiting for me to click 'Order'. Totally chuffed that I finally got over my worry of my parents reactions and just went for it.

I'm glad you mustered up the courage to do it! (*hug*) Though I can't tell whether your mom was slightly shocked or amused.

That's cool, I want one too, but am also worried about what they might think, even though I am out to them, what does it look like?

I'd love to wear one, but sadly I can't find any in this closet. It's kinda dark in here.

I got mine from the same supplier via Amazon.

I've been wearing it around family (who have no idea) and at work, and in town, but nobody has said a single word about it. But it does make me feel so proud to be the person I truly am.

Yours looks really nice, and I hope it fits perfectly.

That is a very cool bracelet! I think your mum may quite like it herself when she sees it. When it arrives, and you're wearing it, invite her to get one.

I've been looking for one as well. I want one with semi-precious gem stones and it needs to be big around to fit my wrist.

That's is a nice bracelet. Now I want one, but not sure if my family will end up questioning me. I'm going to have to find a really cool one.

That's a freaking nice bracelet. I saw a rainbow one that was made of cord that I'd love to get; was made by someone on Etsy, I can't remember where I found it though... They also had one for pansexuality and I believe a few others.

Very cool bracelet!! Kind of tacky, but I once had some rainbow ribbon so I tied it into a "bracelet" because I didn't know where to get one...my mom asked me about it and I was honest that it stood for pride...but I fudged and told her it was to support my friends...had the opportunity to come out and didn't...very nerve racking...but very cool bracelet! I think I might get one!!

I was actually thinking of getting that one! It was between the one I'm getting, and the one you've got. I'll hopefully get a second one nearer to when I go to Uni, and I'm planning on getting that one!
