I've had the pleasure of viewing a few of Stephen's other short videos, and I have to say that Mr Fry, without any shadow of a doubt, should be, instead of DC, our Countries PM; he has the mind of excellence, the look of an honest and decent guy, and an attitude that should be absorbed and acted upon by the world over. Eh. I dunno. Overall, seems like a cool guy but he's said some pretty blatantly transphobic shit that I can't look past.

I've seen that episode (more than once, actually) and that definitely was not meant in a malicious or even teasing manner. He had his typical twinkle in his eye when he said it, his tone was endearing, and it was clear he was completely aware he was intentionally nudging the barrier of what is acceptable, as he always does. He's said a lot worse about just about every other group on the planet - all of it tongue-in-cheek - so the fact that he would be so mild in comparison on this subject says a lot more than what he actually did say.
