My dad and I are going to visit some friends in Holland tomorrow (Thursday) and we won't be back until Sunday. There's only one problem - my dad and the friends we are seeing are VERY homophobic *head desk* Oh well, I'll see you in a few days!(*hug*)
Oh that's great, have fun!! But how can they be homophobic? Holland is one of the most gay friendly countries in the world, as far as I know! Bad luck I guess... :eusa_doh:
yeah i know, but my friend is the most closed-minded person in the world, and this is not helped by his parents... :eusa_doh: good idea! now i need to get laxatives without my dad seeing... lol
I think as you're walking down the street you could casually say, "Wow ! Look at the butt on that guy.! That'd make things interesting.:roflmao: Have fun.
I don't know where you're going and you're still a little young I guess but when I went to Amsterdam with my lesbian friend, we found the 'Pink Point Information' it's got everything you need to know about gay Amsterdam and the guy is really nice. The gay bars are pretty weird, mainly folkroric music, oh and the beer there is pretty strong too. Don't wander too much at night, and be careful, theres quite a lot of crime in Holland.
@JSG I'm in Amsterdam oh. my. gawd. the homophobic bastard. I won't go into detail now cos its half past midnight now but I'll just say that we saw a monument dedicated 2 glbt community and he shat himself laughing also there is a friend of mine who just came out as bi and he (the Dutch friend) just sent him a facebook message which made me cry :'( I'll tell all when I get home on Sunday. oh how I've missed EC! LOL on the plus side I did get some cool sunglasses
