I just saw on my local cable news station (News 12 Long Island) that Governor David Paterson of the State of New York is going to push the state to recognize same-sex marriages that are issued from other states! Definitely a strong step in the right direction for New York! I will look for an actual article to quote later on today. I am unfortunately in the middle of some work, but this story just caught my eye and figured it was important enough to at least mention. |
