Hey guys, do any of you play in band, just doing auditions for a district band and it's the toughest thing I've ever played on Baritone. I play baritone for concert band and sousaphone for marching band.
I played b-flat clarinet, alto clarinet and bass clarinet in high school concert band and pep band. Can't do it any more because of emphysema.
I play alto saxophone in band, but outside of school I have played the violin for 12 years, piano, and guitar.
I played the Alto sax and the Baritone sax in high school concert, marching, and jazz band. Was fun. Managed to win some awards, but it was never what I loved doing. Made some good friends though. The hard part was lugging around that bari sax. The thing was like a bazooka. My neck was killing me every morning xD
I've played flute for 7 years at school and piano for 9 on my own, and I'm also drum major of my school's marching band this year^^
I'm a senior in the marching band. I've played alto sax for 6 years, soprano sax for 4, I play in the marching band, jazz band, wind ensemble, a saxophone quartet, and I do Solo and Ensemble every year, as well as audition for Honor Band. I made into All-State band this year, so for all intents and purposes I'm one of the top high school players in the state that auditioned (Wow, reading that I sound kind of conceited, sorry about that xD). So yes, in short, band is a major part of my life xD as is music in general.
I used to play flute/piccolo in concert and marching band. There isn't a great music program at my community college, but I'll have to see how it turns out when I transfer.
Played flute in middle school and marched one year. Then I switched to oboe and did concert band and orchestra. After graduation, I kept playing my flute on my own.
I play trombone, baritone and tube. My main instrument is the trombone. I don't play in college band anymore though. I don't have time
