Okso, i work at a bookstore. And i suggested to one of my co-workers [who is straight but open minded] that we have a LGBT table of books for pride week. she agreed. and now we're gonna have a table of lgbt fiction! im happy
thats awesome!! wish i lived where you do, we dont have anything like that. everyone here is pretty close minded. most of them accept gay people, but they dont excatly celebrate them.
That's awesome! Make sure none of it makes us look bad. I was at a B&N, and I stumbled across the LGBT section, and there was a GIANT book right there staring at me called, "The Best Lesbian Erotica" or something. I was like... "Good job, B&N. 'Cuz... that's def what it's all about." @#$*&ing sarcasm
I wish local bookstores here have sections like that.. well, I haven't really checked, maybe I should next time I go to a bookstore
That's really cool. =] I'd be really happy if our local bookstore did something like that, too. Can't see it happening here though... it's a small town.
