What do you mean, an age limit? The idea of a limit to coming out makes little to no sense.

Age limit?? No way dude. I knew guys were hot by the 4th grade. And I had feelings of being trans since I was 5 years old. Kids know a lot more about themselves then what their parents think.

In my Utopia, there is no need to 'come out' as anything but people, regardless of age.

Nope. HuffPost blogger Amelia has a son who knew he was gay at 7 and is perfectly open and happy about it. (I wouldn't say he came out because he was never really in.)

Me too. I was about 7, but stayed in until very recently. I wish I'd been open and honest at the start!

    Ha, I'll take that trade.

No, but seriously, coming out isn't the end of the world, even if you're unsure of yourself it's not like you HAVE to live up to what you came out as.

I had my first crush on a girl in my class at 9. However at the time I didn't understand what it was.
I think people should wait till puberty (ie. 12) to label themselves if they label at all, but then again, people should never be IN a closet in the first place.
