It's a sexual orientation when a person would have a relationship with any other individual regardless of gender identity.
What chercheur and chartreuse have said pretty much sums it up. I would like to add that just because they don't care about gender doesn't mean that they don't have standards. They can still have certain types of people that they like, whether it is appearance or personality.

It's the mindset that you'll date/be intimate with anyone regardless of orientation, gender identity, sex, etc etc. It's the one size fits all orientation as I like to call it :3
It means Gender blind. Pan slogan is : "Hearts not parts." (Even though I do like a bit of parts sometimes , oops. ^^) Open to any kind of person from straight , gay , trans , herms etc. Personality is a must , looks are a plus.
