I personally hate it. Therefore I just become a rug muncher for a month. That's the same thing as kissing a heavily bearded man anyway, right?

Wondering about the general opinion from other LGBTs though...

Most of my straight friends tend to love it but then most of my gay/bi girlfriends (I don't know any people who are trans or pan :frowning2: ) seem to hate it also. Starting to think it could be a trend :O

Does it make men more attractive or less?

    (!)(!)(!)

It seems alright, but love would be too strong a word.

I don't really care, I like guys with facial hair anyway, so I guess it's a bit of a win win for me.

I have slowly developed a fetish for facial hair, especially since I started having a small beard and got lots of nice complements (finally I don't look like a teenager!). However, I think a moustache alone looks creepy.

I don't care, people can do what they want and it is a novel idea for fundraising.

I don't like the appearance of facial hair beyond a day or two of stubble though.

(also there are three active Movember threads on the forum now)

I sincerely dislike facial hair so just for that I sincerely dislike Movember and I will never participate in it. The idea behind it is nice though.

I'm organising my school's Movember group, but I absolutely hate facial hair. What annoys me is that it gets so much more attention than breast cancer, despite killing fewer people. In any case, charity is charity, and if I have to grow an awful and pitiful moustache/beard, then I'm willing to do that.

I generally like it, some guys actually look good, while some others just look ridiculous.

Seems fine by me. We don't see too much focus on a lot of men's health issues...I think men are a lot more shy about addressing things like prostate and testicular cancer, given how they're conditioned not to show emotion.

As for beards and moustaches, I can't grow facial hair, but my mate has a very big/fancy beard and moustache, that is modeled after men in Vienna, Austria, circa 1900. You see a LOT of beards on people here, it's certainly a trend out east, especially among artsy/hipster sorts, but all over, really. Beard farmers, we call 'em.

I wish I could join in on the party, but unfortunately the only beard I can grow is thin and transparent :frowning2:

My mind went somewhere else there. I thought, "Well, I already have a forest that I don't shave, that wouldn't be too hard."

I love the idea, but would not do it myself...because I don't like facial hair and think it looks bad on other people too for the most part.

I personally hate shaving, but I don't like having facial hair. But, if it looks classy on a guy, then I'm totally for it:slight_smile:
