I thought about it, but unfortunately I don't think I'll get around to it this time. :/

I may tell my dad I'm gay and not bisexual. It probably won't make much difference to him. OTOH I don't have a boyfriend so what's the point?

You know, I really want a shirt with the little NCOD logo on it that says "Come out to me."

I considered coming out to a gay friend first just to have a good first experience. I ended up just jumping into the deep end and coming out to everyone. Like ripping off a bandaid.

Would people do it though? If you guys were walking around in the mall and saw my shirt, would you come up to me, come out, get a nice big hug, and walk away knowing that you told someone your secret and that it wasn't that bad? I might have done it if I was alone.

At least you KNOW that a guy walking around with that shirt on will NOT have a bad reaction.
    IDK maybe it's a dumb idea.

That actually sounds awesome, if I was alone I would, but probably not with friends!

You know, if we raised more awareness about this day, we could really make it easier for people to come out. At least then, people will be sort of expecting it.

I very recently came out to my mum, but she wasn't particularly understanding/accepting. I'm thinking that maybe her reaction could be due to the rushed and vague way I told her. It was something along the lines of:
"Mum i'm bisexual. Are you fine with it? Okay cool."

I'm considering that on Coming Out day I might sit her down and explain to her exactly what being bisexual means, and how she can support me. It's a scary idea, but at least I'll know for sure where she stands.

Two years ago I sent out a mass text on that day, coming out. Got some favorable responses, and some not favorable ones.
Most people knew by then...but I made it clear

I really don't know who else to come out to. I've come out to everybody I ever intend to come out to.
