About a block away from me sits a pottery shop that sells flags also-some flags are featured outside, such as the US flag, and also a rainbow US flag. But suddenly, I walk by one day, and it's there, but the next day it's gone. what? I wonder, why would the flag be brought down? Did the get criticized a lot?

Yeah, it's always a mistake to jump ahead on assumptions. Perhaps they sold out, and someone bought the "display model" (a New Order fan, probably). Perhaps they just revamped the display.
