House Chores

So I mowed the lawn today

I hate doing that

I was wondering what you all do for house chores? Do you wash your own clothes? Do the Dishes? Unload the Dishwasher?

I'm amazed how most of my friends hardly do anything, and I do alot more than them. Alot of parents do most of it.

Wish my parents were like that

I'm 38, so most of them. Laundry, dishes, minding the cat (both ends), cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming.

I do dishes, that's about all we have... I'll clean up on occasion, but otherwise my mom does that, and my sister takes care of cats, whereas other sister does nothing :S

I mow the lawn (we just got the tractor back to functional, so for about a year and a half or so it had to be done with a push-mower and we have about 2 acres of grass). I pick up the clippings and whatnot, I do the trimming by the woods, I help my mom with the gardening and trim shrubs and whatnot. Usually gives me a healthy tan and stuff.
On the inside, I do dishes on occasion; clean, like vacuuming, dusting stuff and other cleaning stuffs.

i also mow the lawn, i hate it too...i also do the laundry, and take out the garbage, while my sister does the dishes, cleans the kitchen, and feed the dogs...but yea, one chore i absolutely HATE is...dusting....i HATE it, i simply have too much stuff on my shelves that take up too much time dusting....

I wash the dishes, do the laundry (for all my family...ugh), vaccuum (upstairs, downstairs, the stairs), clean my room, and wash the bathrooms. And what does my mom do? You guessed right. Nothing. But whatever. There's no way to fix that...just two more years! Two more years...

I keep my room tidy. I don't have much time to do anything else as I'm home only at night as of lately. Plus I'm not good at it, mom gets exasperated and ends up doing it by herself.

I do most of the housework: dusting, vacuuming, dishes, washing floors etc

Since I live by myself I have to do everything for myself and in my apartment complex the laundry room is far from my apartment so I have to carry all my laundry a long way and pay $2.25 a load just to have some clean clothes. When I lived with my parents I didn't have to do anything except keep my room clean. When I moved out I had no idea how to do laundry or cook or anything.

I have to do the dishes, and keep my room and bathroom clean. I make dinner sometimes.

I think my mom is going to start making me clean the entire house (sweep, mop, dust, vacuum) once a week though...... school ended and she says that i have to do something to keep her paying for my car insurance...

I look after my own room and I do washing up, hoovering, laundry or whatever whenever I'm asked, which is fairly often.

Now that I'm living alone I have to do every single chores in the house by myself.


And I must say, I HATE DOING DISHES!!!!

I do absolutely nothing around the house. I know that I should help because it is only my mother who actually does it. Whenever she leaves me in the house for a couple of days I have to do everything myself which I am fine about doing and I even say to myself that I am going to continue when she gets back, but for some reason I never do!

I mow the lawn, use the weed-whacker, do dishes, pick up the house, and occasionally unload the dishwasher. There are other, random, tasks that I do, but I don't remember them. I'm sort of a Jack of All Trades.

I don't mind it, I don't have much better to do on vacation.

I cook for the family maybe one night a week. I clean the kitchen, load the dishwasher and that sort of thing every night, do my own laundry sometimes and am supposed to keep my room clean. It doesn't happen.

I vacuum, empty the garbage around the house, clean the bathrooms (toilets, showers, etc.), mow the lawn, weed the yard, load/unload the dishwasher and rinse off dishes, and fix stuff if it breaks and my dad's not around.

When I'm at boarding school I just do laundry and keep my room clean (yay for no responsibilities, lol).

I live in a student flat, so do everything I have to myself. I'm moving out today, and haven't cleaned all year, the place is a tip

but it is kinda sad (for me anyway) just sitting on your ass the whole time
