[Holly = gay Claire = bi Clarice = pan] "Holly's a circle, Claire and I are dents, and [Clarice is] just a squiggly line." And the next day, our friend Julia came out as bi so now there's a third dent. (!)
Okay maybe I'm a little slow, but your gonna have to explain how your friend arrived at circle, dent, and squiggly line.
A heterosexual person is often called "straight". So Holly, a homosexual person, is a circle. Crystal (the girl I quoted in the first post), Julia, and I, all bisexual people, are dents. And Clarice, a pansexual girl, is a squiggly line. (I'm not sure where Crystal got that from but it feels right.)
The idea is that a straight person is a straight line. A gay person is the opposite -- a circle. A bi person is a semicircle, being halfway between gay (circular) and straight. The semicircle can also look like a dent in a line. Pan people are just everything so they get to be squiggly lines full of straight and circular bits and so on. Edit: Ninja shark!
That's cute! What about a gay person being an angle or Bent? Bisexuals are bent a little. Gay people are bent a lot. FWIW
